The Bully Project 

Bully made history at its premier screening in 2011 at the Tribeca film festival. Directed by Lee Hirsch, the film follows the lives of five students who faced bullying on a daily basis. Since its release, more than 2 million kids have watched it and it has made a difference in many lives. The screening will be followed by a discussion with staff from the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center.

Dine Out For Meals on Wheels
On Tuesday, October, 15, participating restaurants in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties will donate a percentage of the day's sales to support Peninsula Volunteers, Inc.'s Meals on Wheels program and feed local homebound seniors.

BRSSD Candidate Forum at Nesbit Elementary School

The seven BRSSD board of trustees candidates will take written questions from audience members at Wednesday's forum at Nesbit.

Film screening of "A Fierce Green Fire: The Battle for a Living Earth"
(Palo Alto)
Film screening on environmental activism, from conservation to climate change. A Fierce Green Fire is a new documentary by award-winning filmmaker Mark Kitchell (Berkeley in the Sixties).


Friday, Oct. 18

Teen Open Mic Night
Open Mic Night is back! You've got 6 mins to show us what you've got. All acts welcome! Refreshments will be provided. For ages 12 and up.
