<strong>There's always something new to do around here</strong>!
...and I usually find out about "it" before it opens unless it takes the area by storm. Sometimes even then....
Every week I journey up and down the SF Peninsula between Palo Alto and Burlingame and I've put that mileage to good use. I've hosted nearly 200 entertainment events at most sizeable and many smaller venues and that's left me "plugged in" to entertainment options that have been around for a while as well as what's coming up. As a serious cheerleader for small business I'm always excited to see a new place open and hope they get the best start they can for all our sakes, because we'd like to enjoy their good efforts!
In my San Mateo Patch "Up4It" blog I'll try to let people know:
what's coming over the horizon and where to find it
the dish on established spots finding new life even if they've been around for a while
how popular concepts missing from the Peninsula entertainment landscape might thrive here
Hopefully my input will inspire people to get out and have fun in ways that are new to them.
<br>FYI, this blog has nothing to do with my "9 to 5" job and I get nothing for doing it. It's "pro bono" except that we all win when our non-work hours offer lots of options for happy diversions.
