I've wanted to be a writer since I learned to read at the age of four. It started with short stories and songs, but now I write all sorts of different things. Being a reporter intrigues me and that's why I am on a quest to become a journalist. I grew up in Pacifica and I am a student at the College of San Mateo, where I am the executive editor of our campus paper, The San Matean. I am also attending San Francisco State in addition to CSM, with a major in print/online journalism and a minor in history.
I am interested in science and nature writing and investigative reporting.
In addition to contributing to different Patch sites on the peninsula, I work at the Belmont Library as a Library Assistant and volunteer at Muir Woods National Monument as an interpreter.
