Julie was born and raised on the east coast, in a suburb of Philadelphia. She moved to Boston for college, studying biology at MIT, then went on to complete a Ph.D in Neuroscience at the University of California in San Francisco. Since then, she has continued to live in the Bay Area with her husband Nathan, her nine-month-old baby Jack, and her pups Cooper and Lucy.
Owner of Julie Gosse Photography, she is a professional wedding, event and portrait photographer. Julie can be seen walking around town with her baby strapped to the front of her, with a camera in one hand and a pad of paper in the other.
