As a mom and a writer, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to Perkiomen Valley Patch, both through "A Mom's View of the Valley", and other articles. I have been freelance writing for several years for both regional and national publications. In addition, I am a regular contributing writer for Suite 101 and a blogger as Food Allergy Assistant.
 I hold a master's degree in psychology from Arcadia University and my past work  includes private and group counseling of children, adults, families and couples, employee assistance counseling and presenting employee training programs. Currently, I enjoy my volunteer work with the Perkiomen Valley School district. I also enjoy reading, writing, baking, travel and time spent with my family and friends.
