I specialize in small-space heirloom organic vegetable gardening. Between my own community garden plot and home garden (a total of about 200 square feet), I grows 80% of my family’s produce year round, while running a thriving organic vegetable garden design and consulting business, Gardenerd. 
I teach organic gardening classes at Santa Monica College and have co-taught an organic gardening workshop at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA. My writing has appeared in Edible Los Angeles Magazine, The Ray Magazine, The Good Food Blog, Low Impact Living.com and many others.
