Brightly colored murals decorate the walls of the school, including a giant painting of a smiling fox and childrens' faces at the entrance.

Two portable classroms were added to the campus in 1998. Dolphin Park, which has a playground, several benches and a dolphin-shaped fountain, is located at Central Elementary as well.

The school also offers more than 20 advanced standing and placement courses, and more than 95 percent of graduates attend college.</p>
