Bay Area Martial Arts Academy has two gyms. One of the gyms is in Belmont and the other in Portola Valley. They have programs for men, women, children and law enforcement. A "boot camp" style fitness class is also conducted. Hapkido is a Korean martial art that combines the most effective parts of all martial arts forms into actual street applications. Instructor Mike Agoff is a sixth degree black belt who also is a Police Academy instructor.
