Peter Fletcher, Guitarist
2:00 p.m., Belmont Library, 1110 Alameda de las Pulgas
Back by popular demand, Peter Fletcher is in the Bay Area for a classical guitar performance, playing music that spans centuries and continents. Of particular interest Fletcher will perform selections from his new CD, an all-Grieg album in which he wrote the guitar transcriptions.

Presentation on the Origins of San Francisco Bay
1:00 p.m San Mateo County History Museum, 2200 Broadway
The Museum will present Ken Lajoie, who will discuss 
the origins of the San Francisco Bay on November 16, 2013 at 1 p.m.  Lajoie is an accomplished geologist retired from the United States Geological Survey. The lecture is free with cost of admission ($5 for adults and $3 for seniors and students). 

Sunday, Nov. 17

Home and Hope Walk, Run or Bike
1:30 p.m. Edgewood and Canada Rd., Redwood City/Woodside
Walk 5k, Run 10k or Bike 40k to support Home and Home, a community for homeless families on Sunday, November 17th at 1:30. The events starts at Edgewood and Canada Rd in Woodside/Redwood City. Register or donate online at:www.homeandhope.net. Your donation gives a family in need access to all the staff and resources they need to head home on their journey towards self-sufficiency.

Bay Area e.T.c. presents Oliver!
Canada College
Come see Bay Area e.T.c.'s production of Oliver!. Oliver! is a musical retelling of Dickens' famous novel, Oliver Twist. Oliver! tells  the story of an adventurous orphan boy in 19th century London as he escapes an orphanage and joins a group of pickpockets.
