Do you have any memories or stories to tell that harken back to the days when the hydrants were being painted?

If so, we would love to talk with you about your experience of painting the hydrant or seeing the transformations happen, what it meant to you then, and your thoughts about the project today.

We are two Belmont residents, Denise Chase and Shelley Frost, producing a short documentary film detailing the history of these fire hydrants, where the idea came from, the personalities who brought them to life and fought for them when they came close to their demise.  If you would like to learn more about this film project, or be interviewed on camera, please feel free to contact us at belmontproject@yahoo.com.
