Twin Pines Concerts Ready to Rock the Hills

The 36th annual summer concert series kicks off on Father's Day with Just Cream, an Eric Clapton tribute band.

 

The 36th annual is right around the corner and organizers have lined up a series of bands that will appeal to music lovers of all ages and tastes.

Beginning June 17 and on the following six Sundays, will transform into a series of for the whole family to enjoy, and as Belmont Park Boosters spokeswoman Judie Davis says, "Dancing on the grass is encouraged!"

Each concert will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Meadow at Twin Pines Park, located near City Hall.

  • June 17 - Just Cream (Cream and Eric Clapton Tribute)
  • June 24 - System 9 (Rhythm & Blues)
  • July 1 - the Fred McCarty Band (Country Western)
  • July 8 - Brother Buzz (Classic Rock)
  • July 15 - Blue (California Good Time Music!)
  • July 22 - Tom Rigney & Flambeau - (Fiddlin' Cajun Style)
  • July 29 - Acoustic Son (Vocal Driven Rock & Roll)

The series is sponsored by local businesses, and revenues are generated by selling concessions at the concerts. Belmont Park Boosters is a non-profit organization, and many if its members have been involved since the first summer concert in 1976.
