Cheer on BRS All-Stars at 'Watch Party' Today at CHS Student Union

As Belmont marches toward the Little League World Series, fans are invited to CHS to watch them play in the 2013 West Regional Tournament.

The Belmont Redwood Shores 11/12 Year-Old All Stars take on Chandler, AZ today at 4:00 p.m. in West Regional Pool Play in San Bernadino. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3. Watch the game with other BRS fans at Carlmont High School’s Student Union.

Trying to find a place that---a) could accommodate a large group of baseball fans; b) have awesome audio/video and c) be available for the next week should the team go all the way---was the challenge of Belmont Redwood Shores Little League officials. But they have found the perfect place—Carlmont High School’s Student Union.

BRSLL president Ken Knobel invites the community to CHS to watch the games, which will be broadcast live on ESPN3, starting at 4:00 p.m. Friday. (Doors open at 3:30 p.m.)

Knoble says the school’s student union is large enough and offers good audio and video support. He added that the watch parties will continue as long as the Belmont team remains in the tournament.

“Please bring your family, teammates, and neighbors and come cheer on our amazing BRSLL 11/12 All Stars. Food and drink will be for sale to benefit the team and their families. Donations will be welcome,” said Knoble.
