The Belmont-Redwood Shores Youth Girls Softball Association offiically opened its season on Saturday morning with a ceremonial parade around the field at the .
The morning was especially nostalgic for me, as not only did I play softball as a kid and in high school, but I was invited to throw the first pitch of the season along with members of the Parks and Recreation Commission. My editor Jamie White even showed up with her husband and brand new baby to cheer us on!
