Ralston Rams 7th Graders Take Hoops Titles

The girls and boys teams each won their championship games Monday.

The legacy of sports excellence at Ralston Middle School continues, with both the boys and girls 7th grade basketball teams capturing league titles on Monday.

Thanks to Rams fan Jeff Burgos for the following game wrap-ups and photos:

Girls 7th Grade Championship: The lady Rams finally cracked the Jordan Middle School (Palo Alto) code as coming into the game they were 0-5 against Jordan dating back to 6th grade.  Girls win by a final score 34-24.

Boys 7th Grade Championship:  In another rematch from last year's 6th Grade Championship game, the Ralston boys also faced off against Jordan.  Once again Jordan kept it close until half time, but Ralston never pulled its foot from the gas pedal and pulled away in the second half to close out the game 50-40.

This brings their current middle school record to an impressive 25-1 over two years, their only loss coming at the hands of Jordan Middle School in the regular season during their 6th grade year.
