Slideshow: Fans Cheer as BRS Wins Round 1 of Tourney

The winner of the Western Regional Tournament will go on to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. BRS will play their second game on Sunday at 9 a.m.

Dozens gathered Friday afternoon to watch Belmont Redwood Shores 11/12-Year-Old All Stars handily beat Chandler, AZ 8-0 in the first game of the Western Regional Tournament in San Bernadino.

BRS had 11 hits in the game, including 2 home runs. Pitcher Sean Lee only allowed two hits, striking out 14.
