According to Louise Pacheco, construction project manager for SUHSD, the (lights/bleacher/parking lot) is on schedule and the stadium will be ready for the first home game under the new lights. Extensive prep work is being done now, and Pacheco expects the lights to be delivered by mid-August.
In addition to the installation of the four 80-foot light poles, aluminum bleachers and parking lot (adjacent to the tennis courts) are being added to the school's stadium facility.
In a concurrent, but separate project, the ten-year-old synthetic turf is being replaced.
The was approved in the spring by a unanimous vote by the Sequoia Union High School District (SUHSD).

There will be four Friday night football games at Carlmont High School this season.
