Belmont Girls Off to Great Start in Sectional Tourney
The team will play Prunedale for the championship.
The Belmont-Redwood Shores AYSO U10 girls team, Intensity, were victorious in both of their games on Saturday in the AYSO sectional tournament in Foster City.
According to Intensity coach, Andre Kessler, the girls beat Sacramento 4-0 and a Palo Alto team by the same score, putting them in good position for the remainder of the tournament.
"Aleece Kessler was on fire today scoring multiple goals!" said the coach.
"Tomorrow the team faces Prunedale," he added.
