The success of the Belmont Redwood Shores Little League (BRSLL) Little League All Stars continues in San Bernardino, with the team collecting its second win today, 3-0 over Hawaii. BasMeanwhile, back home, the excitement continues to grow as hometown fans are crowding over to Carlmont High School's Student Union to cheer on the team.
After over 100+ fans came out for Friday's game, at least another 80+ came out early Sunday morning, with the first enthusiastic fan arriving at 8:15 for the 9 a.m. game.  Belmont Vice-Mayor Warren Lieberman and Councilman David Braunstein, both previous Little League managers, came out to make and sell bagels, part of the league's immediate effort to raise funds for the team's expenses in traveling to San Bernardino and hopefully Williamsport.

Vice Mayor Lieberman commented, "It was my pleasure to help out.  This is a great team and it's great to see community coming out to support them."
The atmosphere at the Student Union was full of excitement, with fans cheering at every positive play.

The viewing parties are demonstrative of the tremendous community effort that has combined to support the team. The league is grateful to Carlmont High School for lending its facilities to the community.  The plan is for all of the upcoming BRSLL games to be broadcast live at Carlmont, with next games on Monday at 11:45 am and Wednesday at 8 pm. Everyone is welcome to come out and watch.

The BRSLL All Star team still needs donations to help the team offset expenses.  If the team advances to the next part of the series, the need for more fundraising will increase dramatically.
