Q: How long have you been swimming? How many years competitively?

A: I have been swimming for eight years but only six years have been competitively. 

Q: Do you want to swim in college? If yes, have you been offered any scholarships? 

A: Yes, I want to swim in college, but I have not been offered any scholarships yet.

Q: Do you play any other sports? If yes, which ones and how long have you played them? 

A: I play water polo as well as swim. I have done water polo all three years of high school. 

Q: Which sport is your favorite to play and why? 

A: Water polo because I get to swim and it is an interesting sport.

Q: What motivates you to keep swimming?

A: I normally sing songs or count laps and tell myself to keep going. 

Q: What is your worst injury related to swim? 

A: I had a shoulder injury and I was out for four months. 

Q: What has been your greatest loss while swimming?

A: I was racing a really close friend and unfortunately I lost. 

Q: What has been your greatest victory while swimming?

A: I placed very high in a meet a while back during the 200 backstroke.

Q: Do you enjoy playing a sport for Carlmont? Why?

A: I really like it because I get to see all my friends every day and exercise at the same time.

Q: Do you have a specific person or teammate who motivates you to keep playing?

A: Not really, my coach is pretty good at motivating me though. 

Q: Do you play on an outside sports team?

A:  I swim year round when I am not doing swimming or water polo for Carlmont.
