Updated Time: 49ers Return To Bay Area Today at San Jose Airport

If you'd like to welcome the team back, here's the information.

The San Francisco 49ers' flight into Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport has been delayed by an hour to 3:15 p.m.

The 49ers were initially scheduled to arrive at 2:15 p.m., officials said.

After a crushing loss in the Super Bowl, the San Francisco 49ers will be arriving at Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport this afternoon, an airport spokeswoman said.

The team will be arriving at 2:15 p.m., airport spokeswoman Rosemary Barnes said.

The 49ers lost 34-31 to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday in New Orleans, the first Super Bowl loss in the team's history.

The 49ers trailed by 22 points in the third quarter and, following an in-stadium blackout, roared back to get within five points before stalling near the goal line on a late drive to take the lead.

It was the team's sixth trip to the Super Bowl and first since 1995.

This does not relate to Palo Alto, please don't waste my time with this junk. I subscribed to this because I am interested in Palo Alto, not because I have no other news source.
