Benefits of Singing
Besides becoming a really good singer, there are quite a number of benefits to the study of music. <usic engages the two hemispheres in the brain and causes them to work together in ways only a few other activities can achieve. The brain also releases endorphins not only at the activity of creating sound and listening to music, but even at the mere anticipation of it! Musicians tend to be able to learn both visually and auditory, as well. Boosts in confidence and increased leadership skills (and an increase in the desire to lead)-- especially in women and girls -- are also very common. Also, your blood is increasingly oxygenated due to breathing. This creates calm moods and an overall feeling of health. Singing also strengthen abs!
