Who Was Your Most Memorable Teacher?

Tuesday is National Teacher Appreciation Day.

They are tasked with guiding us through life’s milestones— from shoe tying to doctoral theses --those teachers who make indelible impressions on our lives, and to whom can attribute life’s successes great and small.

So in celebration of National Teacher Appreciation Day tomorrow, we are asking you, our Patch readers, to share some of the things you’ve been taught along the way by a favorite teacher.

Of course, teachers come in many forms--from the kindergarten teacher who taught you the benefits of sharing and the proper use of scissors, to the music teacher who guided you through years of piano lessons, to the college philosophy professor who taught you that the unexamined life is not worth living.
