'Twelfth Night' Opens This Weekend at NDNU Theatre

Shakespeare's popular comedy is set on a Caribbean island, and features local performers, including Central Elementary School teacher George Metropulos.

Putting a tropical twist on a Shakespeare classic, director Michael Elkins and choreographer Coleen Lorenz will bring their special adaptation of "Twelfth Night" to life this weekend at NDNU Theatre.

Set on a tropical island in 2013, this very modern, "Caribbean-themed" version of William Shakespeare's timeless comedy features dance numbers and live music.

In addition to cross-dressing and mistaken identities in this famously funny story, the show will feature original pop-rock renditions of Shakespearean songs.
