Tigers Tear Up Tournament Court

Over the weekend, the Notre Dame Belmont varsity tennis team won the Division 7 Championship at the California Girls Tennis Classic in Clovis, CA.

This time last week, the varsity tennis team was preparing both mentally (the first tournament of the season) and physically (they would be playing in 100+ degree weather) for a weekend in Clovis at the California Girls Tennis Classic.

Today, the Lady Tigers, led by team captains Rebecca Boghossian and Paige Kingery, are champs of Division 7, emerging victorious from the tournament thanks to the team's steady groundstrokes and unmatched perseverance.

Coach Margaret Goldsmith said that although the temperatures soared above 100 on Friday, Alivia Horsely, Maddy Ching, Lyddie Daily, and Riley McGlinichey went undefeated in round robin portion of the tournament.
