Belmont residents recall their most memorable teachers for National Teacher Appreciation Day.

Everyone has a teacher has touched their life in a memorable way. If you're lucky, you had more than one.

Today is National Appreciation Day, and we asked readers on Facebook who their most memorable teachers were. 

Sayre Ribera nominated teacher Paul Ternullo. And Belmont Patch editor Joan Dentler made a nod to her father-in-law, Bob Dentler, a Boston sociology professor:
