For many students who attended prom Saturday, the evening began with a photo session, food and the traditional exchange of corsages and bouteniers.
Here are a few photos taken at the home of Carlmont senior Spencer Hawley, whose parents, Dave and Lynn hosted a group of prom-goers before they headed out to the Hotel Sofitel for the main event, "The Stroke of Midnight."
