Reminder: Schools Supe to Host Community Meeting January 23

In the spirit of transparency and direct access to information, Belmont-Redwood Shores School District Superintendent Michael Milliken will provide a district update next month.

In what will likely be the first in a new community outreach effort by the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District (BRSSD) administration and board of trustees, Superintendent Michael Milliken, will host a meeting on Jan. 23 at 7:00 p.m. at Nesbit Elementary School.

"My interest (and that of our board) is to keep the community informed, to give them direct access to our district leadership, and to provide current and accurate information about district budget, curriculum, enrollment, and testing," said Milliken.

Milliken added that the governor's proposed budget is expected to announced on Jan. 17, so he hopes to have some information to share on the state budget at the Jan. 23 meeting.
