NDNU Names New Dean and VP for Enrollment

Notre Dame de Namur University today announced that Jason Murray has been appointed vice president for enrollment management, effective immediately. Murray joined NDNU in 2011 as director of admissions and most recently served as dean of enrollment management.

Murray has a BA from Dickinson College and an MA from Georgetown University. He also worked at Georgetown, in positions of increasing authority; his final position was associate dean for academic affairs in the School of Nursing and Health Studies. While at Georgetown, Murray raised enrollment by 65% and was successful in strengthening student retention and improving the advising system.

The university also named Craig Brewer, Ed.D., dean of the School of Business and Management, effective immediately. Brewer has served as interim dean since July 1. He holds an Ed.D. in organizational leadership with an emphasis in higher education administration from University of La Verne. He has an MS in marriage and family therapy/counseling and BS in human services from California State University at Fullerton.

Before coming to NDNU, Brewer was the interim associate dean for the School of Business and Professional Studies at Brandman University, as well as assistant professor of organizational leadership. He has extensive experience consulting in performance management, development and training.

“Both Jason and Craig have done an outstanding job in their current positions,” said NDNU President Judith Maxwell Greig. “We are confident they will continue to help the university provide access to a quality education.”
