On Friday, Nov. 1, 30 girls from Cipriani Elementary School in Belmont descended on Sharkey's HAIR IT IS for a night of glamour.

Sharkey's "Fabulous Five" stylists and the salon owners with family volunteers dolled the girls up with hairstyles of fun braids and cascading curls, beautiful makeup, mini-cures, and rock star and princess dresses with party beads, boas and hats to complete the look.

To cap off the night, the girls enjoyed pizza from Mountain Mike's in Belmont and games of bingo and freeze dance.

Cipriani PTA would like to send out a BIG Thank You to Sharkey's HAIR IT IS for hosting Cipriani's first Glamour Girl.  The event raised $1,400 for the PTA in one night (two hours).

Sharkey's HAIR IT IS, a new salon that opened in September 2013 can serve the entire family. They have two color specialists, fun car chairs for the little ones, and Xbox 360 video games for the older kids. A tween lounge is also available for both haircuts and glamour girl birthday parties.
