Orientation: Become a Foster or Adoptive Parent

San Mateo County residents are invited to one of two orientation sessions to learn more about becoming a foster parent or adopting a child. 

The sessions come as the county Board of Supervisors has declared November to be Adoption Month. More than 100 children in San Mateo County need a foster or adoptive home, according to county statistics. 

The sessions are:

  • 6-8:30 p.m. Nov. 15, 2415 University Ave., East Palo Alto
  • 7-9:30 p.m. Dec. 6, 400 Harbor Blvd., Bldg. B, Belmont
