Kidizens is expanding its program at the Belmont location! We will be offering two levels of Kidizens classes: Kidizens Winter/Spring sessions for students ages 8-11 and Young Kidizens Winter/Spring sessions for students ages 5-7. Kidizens is an enrichment program that teaches real-life lessons, civics and economics in a social and interactive learning environment using LEGOs. Children build and "live" in cities, thereby learning how societies form and evolve. Our kidizens learn by exploring, experiencing and addressing real-life situations by building a city, enacting laws, responding to crisis situations, all in a city council setting . They learn to solve problems, communicate effectively, work in teams and take decisions as they build cities using LEGO bricks and work with each other to manage the city economy and determine the kind of city governance that is required. Most of all the kids have fun!
