Fox School Scholastics Chess Tournament(Sponsored by Fox PTA)Sunday March 18, 2012 (1:00 PM to 6:00 PM)

  • 3 Divisions: K-3, K-6, and K-8
  • Non USCF - Beginners welcome
  • 5 Round Swiss; Game in 20 minutes
  • $20 if received by March 17th
  • On-site registration $25 (12:30-12:45)
  • Limited to first 80 entries
  • Prizes to top 5 in each division plus grade prizes
  • Please bring chess clock if you have one

    General Information:

    Round Times & Byes: Rd 1 1:10; Rd 2 2:05; Rd 3 3:00; Rd 4 3:55; Rd 5 4:50; Awards ceremony to follow. Please request byes for any rounds you can't attend. One half-point bye allowed (zero point byes for additional rounds). Half-point bye for final round must be requested before start of tournament.
    Rules: All USCF rules in effect unless otherwise noted. Clock may not be set for time delay. Notation is not required. USCF tiebreak rules will be used for awards.

    From Fwy 280:Take 92 East towards San Mateo Bridge, exit on Ralston Avenue, left at the exit, right on Hallmark, right on Benson Way, right on St. James Road

    From Fwy 101:Take 92 West towards Half Moon Bay, exit on Ralston Avenue, left at the exit, right on Hallmark, right on Benson Way, right on St. James Road
