Who Will be Belmont's New Mayor?

Find out tonight as new council members are sworn in and the group has its annual reorganization.

After a bit of city business during its regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., the Belmont City Council will hold a ceremony to administer the oath of office to its re-elected member, Warren Lieberman, and newly-elected members Eric Reed and Charles Stone.

Following the swearing in, the council will have a reorganization, in which Christine Wozniak will step down as mayor, and a vote will be taken to determine who will serve as the city's next mayor and vice-mayor.

Historically, the vice-mayor is voted in as mayor, meaning Warren Lieberman, the current vice-mayor, will most likely become the city's new leader.
