Reminder: Belmont Creek Clean-Up Starts Saturday Morning

"Every piece of trash you remove reveals something beautiful."

Join your fellow friends, family, service groups and neighbors, learn about the impacts of litter and have fun at / Belmont Creeks to Bay this Saturday, Sept. from 15 from  9 a.m.-noon.

By picking up cigarette butts, plastic bags, tires, bottles, and other miscellaneous items, litter is prevented from making its way to the ocean via storm drains and waterways where it endangers marine animals and the environment.

All cleanup supplies are provided, however, to reduce our waste participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable bag, bucket and/or gloves.

Meet at located at One Twin Pines. Upon sign-in, volunteers will go to various locations throughout the city.

For more information or to volunteer, contact Diane Lynn at 650-595-7425 dlynn@belmont.gov For groups of 10 or more, RSVP to Ana Clayton at: pollutionprevention@co.sanmateo.ca.us.
