Upcoming: Candidates Forum Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Belmont voters will have an opportunity to ask questions of five city council and two city clerk hopefuls prior to the Nov. 8 election.

To help voters learn a bit more about candidates for Belmont City Council and Belmont City Clerk, the Neighborhood Associations of Belmont (NAB), will host a Candidates Forum Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Twin Pines Senior Center, located at 20 Twin Pines Lane.

With two openings and five candidates for city council and one incumbent and one challenger in the race for city clerk, Belmont voters will have choices to make on Election Day, Nov. 8.

Candidates for city council (two openings) are: David Braunstein (incumbent), Paul Brownlee, Michael McGuinness, Eric Reed, and Christine Wozniak (incumbent).  Candidates for city clerk (one opening) are: Terri Cook (incumbent), and Dave Warden.
