Traffic Alert: Hwy 101 Closure Oct. 19
As Belmont pedestrian/ bike bridge nears completion, freeway will shut down for 3.5 hours.
According to the City of Belmont, there will be a full freeway closure of the northbound lanes of Hwy. 101 between Belmont and San Mateo on Oct. 19. The closure is required to install fences for the Ralston Avenue Bikeway Overcrossing. This project is being constructed by the City of Belmont.
Northbound Route 101 will be closed on Oct. 19 between Ralston Ave./Marine Pkwy. and Hillsdale Blvd. for 3.5 hours from 12:30 AM to 4:00 AM. The detour for this closure will be Ralston Ave. east to El Camino Real to Hillsdale Blvd.
Detour signs will be posted to direct traffic.
