San Carlos City Council to Select New Mayor

The council will select a new mayor on Monday night.

The San Carlos City Council tonight will select a new mayor to replace Omar Ahmad, who died suddenly of a heart attack in May.

The council will also swear in its newest member, former city councilman and Pixar Animation Studios movie producer Brad Lewis.

Lewis was appointed June 6 to serve the remaining five months of Ahmad's council term.

Councilman Andy Klein has been serving as mayor since Ahmad's death.
