SamTrans this week announced the launch of its new website as a first step at in an in-depth look at its bus service.
According to SamTrans officials, the website "will be used to keep the public informed and to gather input during the process."
The SamTrans Service Plan is a key initiative in the Transit District’s Strategic Plan, and will assess the efficiency of SamTrans’ current system and identify areas for improvement and new markets for future growth, agency officials said in a statement.

The website will be a resource for all project-related information, including study materials, as well as future public meeting dates and times, the statement reported.
In addition to the website, passengers can also call the project message line at 650-508-6338 (for English and Spanish speakers) or send comments by e-mail to ssp@samtrans.com.
