At a later date, the Planning Commission will be asked to grant a Conditional Use Permit to allow further design of the park.

Though the project is anticipated to cost $450,000, Belmont hopes to gain $200,000 of that money from alternative sources including grants and donations.

The Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 1 Twin Pines Lane.
