Planning Commission to Discuss Car Wash, Gas Station Proposal

The project includes encompasses two parcels--one on Old County Road and one on Ralston Avenue.

Next month, the Belmont Planning Commission will consider proposals for the construction of a new car wash, gas station and food mart at two locations: 699 Ralston Avenue and 1041 Old County Road (corner properties).

According to the Belmont City Manager's Weekly Update, the city released the environmental study for the proposed projects last week. The project includes demolition of the improvements on both parcels and reconstruction of a new single-story 1,980 square foot food mart, 1,520 square foot full service car wash, and 3,870 square foot fueling canopy area with six multi-product gasoline dispensers.

The project is scheduled for review at the December 17th Planning Commission Meeting.
