Million Dollar Makeover of San Carlos City Hall Begins

Other city upgrades are coming in February and March.

Renovations to San Carlos City Hall were expected to begin Thursday, a $1.1 million uplift that brings some welcome new energy-efficient lighting and the replacement of 20-year-old carpeting to the building.

According to local media reports, new fire sprinklers will also be added to the ground floor during the makeover.

The San Jose Mercury News says the work is expected to take about four months.
