Council Race May Not be Decided for Several Days

All precincts have been counted, but county still must process some ballots.

The close race between incumbent Christine Wozniak and challenger Eric Reed may not be decided for several days according to San Mateo County election officials.

With all precincts counted and all vote-by-mail ballots that had been received by yesterday's election counted, .  Just 14 votes separate the two.

However, stacks of mail-in-ballots were dropped off at polling places yesterday, and others were put in yesterday's mail and have yet to be received and counted. Those, as well as provisional ballots will be counted over the next several days.
