Caltrain to Operate Sunday Schedule on Thanksgiving

Caltrain will adjust its schedules later this week to accommodate Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

Caltrain is adjusting its schedules later this week in order to accomodate both the Thanksgiving holiday and the aniticipated Black Friday shopping frenzy.

The agency will operate on a Sunday scheduleThanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, and will run a Saturday schedule the day after Thanksgiving, traditionally the busiest shopping day of the year.

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24

Caltrain will operate a regular Sunday schedule of 32 trains between San Francisco and San Jose, with shuttle service to the Tamien station. Train service will not operate south of San Jose.

Day After Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 25

Caltrain will run a Saturday schedule with 36 trains operating between San Francisco and San Jose. The schedule will include Weekend Bullet Express trains in the morning and early evening, a great way to start the shopping season. Click HERE for a schedule.

Caltrain district offices in San Carlos will be closed on both Nov. 24 & 25.
