Could CSUS Be Coming to Belmont After All?

The private school's development application was denied last year, but Belmont City Councilmember Coralin Feierbach met with Crystal Springs Uplands School officials last week to discuss bringing the school to Davis Drive.

Initially, Feiberbach was outspoken in her opposition to the school. She cited loss of tax revenue and increased traffic on Ralston Avenue as her major objections. Additionally, Feierbach, Warden and Wozinak were opposed to altering the city's General Plan and rezoning the Davis Drive property from industrial to institutional.
