As Storm Approaches, a Few Reminders from Public Works

Free sandbags are available at two Belmont locations.

Now that winter is knocking on the door, the Belmont Public Works Department has a few tips on how to keep storm drains clear and where to pick up free sandbags.

For starters, PW reminds residents to use the green Recology container for branches and yard clippings---do not place yard debris in the gutter or roadway.

If your storm drain is covered with debris, call Public Works at 650-595-7425.
