In March, we asked Patch users to pinpoint the city's most dangerous intersections on this interactive map.
Sunday's near the corner of Ralston Avenue and Alameda de las Pulgas has some Patch users talking about municipal speed limits. Fortunately no one was seriously injured, but the crash shut down the intersection in all directions for over an hour and several vehicles were damaged.
Know an intersection that you think puts motorists and pedestrians at risk? Add a point to the map and Belmont Patch will follow up with city staff on their plans for making our streets safer.
How to add a point on the map:
- In the right-hand corner of the map, click the "Add" button.
- Type in a name and the intersection you would like to add.
- Press submit and the pin should appear.
Tell us in the comment section of any experinces you've had with dangerous Belmont intersections.
