Watch: Burglars Caught on Belmont Home's Video Camera

This YouTube video shows the burglars coming into the house and looking around.

The Belmont Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying two men who allegedly burglarized a home on Cipriani Boulevard on Jan. 3, and possibly another home on the same block on Dec. 17.

This YouTube video caught on the victim's interior security camera, shows two brazen burglars entering the home in broad daylight, ignoring a large barking dog and a sleeping cat.

According to Capt. Pat Halleran of the Belmont Police Dept., the two, as yet unidentified suspects, burglarized a home in the 2200 block of Cipriani Boulevard between 2:30 and 5:00 p.m. The victim is still compiling a list of missing items according to Halleran.

Here is the suspect information provided by police: 

  • Suspect #1 - African American Male, late teens, red beanie, maroon zip-up hoodie, dark jeans, black Nike athletic shoes with pink highlights
  • Suspect #2 - African American male, late teens - early 20’s, black beanie, sweatshirt with writing “New Jack” on the front, dark jeans, green boxers, black/gray basketball shoes.
