Two-Alarm Fire Displaces Four in Daly City

The blaze damaged a home on Sunday afternoon.

Four people were displaced by a two-alarm fire in a Daly City home Sunday afternoon, according to the North County Fire Authority.

Flames and smoke were coming from the front of the second floor of the single-family home at 432 Citrus Ave. when firefighters arrived on the scene around 1:50 p.m., North County Fire Authority officials said.

Firefighters were able to quickly confine the fire to the front half of the second floor and had the flames completely extinguished by about 4:20 p.m., according to the North County Fire Authority.

The home suffered extensive smoke damage throughout the rest of the second floor, as well as minor damage to the first floor.

There were no injuries due to the fire. The four residents of the home were displaced and the Red Cross is providing living assistance.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
