Deputies searched the train station and surrounding area, but were unable to locate the suspects.

While deputies continued interviewing the victim, her bank informed her of unusual purchases taking place at the Safeway and Walgreens store in Belmont.

While the Belmont Police Department was notified, the bank called back and added that the credit cards were then being used at StrideRite Shoes, Gymboree, Sephora and Kara’s Cupcakes on Burlingame Avenue in Burlingame.

Based on the most recent transaction activity, the Burlingame Police department was advised and Burlingame officers stopped and detained Randolph near the Burlingame Caltrain station.

The credit cards from the theft in San Carlos were found on the ground near where Randolph was located.

San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputies took custody of Randolph a short time later, after which she was transported and booked in San Mateo County Jail.
