Police Blotter: Suspicious Visitor, Woman Wandering in Her Nightgown

Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011
8:35 a.m. Suspicious Vehicle Two men in a white van with no markings other than a small American flag on the back, were sitting in the van for 30+ minutes while parked on San Ardo Way. It was later determined that the men in the van were surveyors.
10:36 a.m. Welfare Check A person reported seeing an elderly woman wandering down Ralston Ave. near El Camino Real wearing a nightgown and appearing disoriented.

11:48 a.m. Warrant Service/Attempt A woman self-surrendered on a bench warrant at the Belmont Police Dept. She was arrested, cited, and released to appear.
2:23 p.m. Fire Dept. Call (Smoke/Odor Investigation) Construction crews hit a natural gas line on Holly Rd. Police and fire responded.

3:36 p.m. Citizen Assist A man on Anita Ave. received a suspicious phone call from another man stating he was his cousin and that he would be driving to the Belmont house from Los Angeles.
4:32 p.m. Solicitor Complaint A male solicitor damaged a resident’s vehicle and urinated on his lawn on Anita Ave. The solicitor, wearing a white shirt and khaki pants, then went to the next house on the street toward Valley View.

3:26 p.m. Burglary (Commercial/Residential) An apartment on Irene Ct. was broken into.
8:42 p.m. Disturbance A roommate was acting irrational on Village Ct.
11:29 p.m. Court Order Violation A man was arrested for violating a court order following a verbal argument on Sixth Ave.

2:22 a.m. Burglary An apartment on Granada St. was broken into and items were missing.
6:21 p.m. Animal Call A large deer was running in and out of traffic on Alameda de las Pulgas at Carlmont Dr.
7:32 p.m. Suspicious Vehicle An unfamiliar truck was parked on Christian Dr.
